Protecting the privacy of our clients is very important to Imbri Web, thus to safeguard all personally identifiable information we operate under the following guidelines.

Collecting personal information

Imbri Web collects personal information about individuals that is required to provide service, and this information is always provided voluntarily by the individual in question. For example, upon sign-up we request contact details to use for notifications regarding our services, and financial information to use for billing purposes.

Some user information is automatically logged by our website, which enables us to identify our users, and to improve and update our websites to suit their needs. This information includes (but is not limited to): IP addresses, referrers, operating system and browser information, etc.

Parts of our website(s) may make use of cookies. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's hard drive containing information about the user. For example, some systems use cookies to store your log-in information, so that you need not re-enter it every time you visit that part of the website. You are free to reject all cookies by changing your browser preferences.

Direct contacts

Imbri Web may periodically contact clients in relation to the services provided: to advise of system updates or changes, notification of scheduled downtime, to request information about use of services, etc. Invoices will be sent to the client's provided email address either monthly or annually, depending on that client's billing schedule. Promotional emails, concerning either Imbri Web or third party services, have never been a strategy utilised by Imbri Web, and will not be in the future.

Every precaution is taken to maintain the security of all client information, both on and off-line. All sensitive information (such as credit card or other billing details) is submitted in encrypted format via SSL, which the lock icon on the bottom of your browser will confirm. Access to any information about our clients at all (i.e. names and residential addresses) is severely restricted to prevent loss, misuse or unauthorised alteration.

Imbri Web may partner with other vendors to provide additional services such as domain registration and merchant accounts, and in these cases may share what personal information is necessary to provide such service. These parties may or may not have their own privacy policies; if they do, it will be made clearly available to the client. The client is responsible for reading and agreeing to such privacy statements separately, since the provider of these services is separate from Imbri Web.

Imbri Web may disclose user information, including demographic data, when required by law or to protect the rights or property of Imbri Web or our clients. We will never sell or otherwise transmit personal information to third parties without the consent of the client except as described in this policy or in the Imbri Web Terms and Conditions.

The Imbri Web website often contains links to other websites that are not associated with Imbri Web. Imbri Web is not responsible for the privacy practices of any outside linked websites, and users are encouraged to read the Privacy Policy of any website that collects personal information.

Changes to this policy

If there are changes to the Imbri Web Privacy Policy, a notice will be posted on the relevant section of our website, to ensure that clients are always aware of how their information is collected, stored and used. If Imbri Web plans to use any information in a manner different than what was stated at the time of collection, clients will be contacted ahead of time via email.

If you have any questions about our Privacy Policy, or if you believe Imbri Web has not adhered to these principles, please contact us.
