SmartFTP is different from most FTP programs, as it has an address and login bar where you can quickly log into any server you like. Simply type in your connection info as shown below. If your domain has not yet propagated, use the server IP given in your welcome email as the address. Make sure "Anonymous Login" is not selected.

When you are ready to connect, click on the "Connect" button in the upper left corner, or go to FTP > Connect.

Now you can define this connection as a Favorite, so that you can connect to it in the future without retyping everything in. Go to Favorites > Add to Favorites, then click OK on the window that pops up. If you wish, you can put it in an existing folder, or create a new one by clicking Insert Folder.
